I had heard this game had been canceled, so it’s really cool to see a finished, downloadable game!

The developers say the style of this game is “trail and death.”

It really reminds me of Knytt Stories, another indie game (though not available on the Xbox) where you also die a lot trying to avoid enemies (there are no weapons).

Coin Hunt and Tanaka’s Friendly Adventure are two adorable 8-bit flash games. In Coin Hunt all you have to do is collect coins, but oh no! Don’t get hit by enemies! Tanaka’s Friendly Adventure is about making friends! You pretty much just walk around, but as you enter new areas you find more friends! :3 They both use the Flixel engine, which seems super cool for retro-style game makers.

Cool Web Design – Treasure Island Music Festival

The Treasure Island Music Festival 2010 site design is pretty neat. So vintage and BOLD!

I will say, however, it seems a little unfinished, especially on pages with tons of text.

As a side note, I am completely unable to go to this festival, and not just because it’s kind of expensive. I (mainly) can’t go because I’ll be at Nerdapalooza the whole weekend, fools. Aww yeah.

Also, check out this new track by Anamanaguchi, posted by Bryan Lee O’Malley on his blog. He says it’s going to be in the Scott Pilgrim game, which I wasn’t sure was really happening but I guess it is? Super awesome!
