Coin Hunt and Tanaka’s Friendly Adventure are two adorable 8-bit flash games. In Coin Hunt all you have to do is collect coins, but oh no! Don’t get hit by enemies! Tanaka’s Friendly Adventure is about making friends! You pretty much just walk around, but as you enter new areas you find more friends! :3 They both use the Flixel engine, which seems super cool for retro-style game makers.
